just wonder how Exactly parry works, just Two questions :D

1. i know its 30% block with a sheild. and 17 with a weapon (if you have 0 boshy) but if i have a sheild and a sword does it make 47? or just 30...

2. Defense Chance Increase, anything to do with parry or no, if so can you explain a bit

Thanks for your time and Brains :D:D:D:D:D

You will find all the combat formulas at this link...

http://uo.stratics.com/content/arms-armor/combat.php

By the way, there is alot of useful information to be found at http://uo.stratics.com so you might want to check that out as well.

Regardless, here are the answers to your questions...

- Parry is a single check, so they don't stack.
- DCI is unrelated to Parry. DCI comes into play in the Chance to Hit formula. Your Parry chance is checked if they successfully hit you (i.e. you block successful hits).
