Parry Mage using Bushido ?

Is that a viable build ?

Loads of people are telling me oh no one wants two handed spell channelling weapons but I reckon if you have parry mage that gives some decent protection against warriors if they get too close !

What are your thoughts... has this been done before ?

There was a time where the "evade mage" was pretty popular.. Then some found out (maybe after a nerf? Don't remember) that it did not block other mage spells casted by players as well as it does in pvm and it kinda faded out.

Not sure if my memory is correct but i know they were popular for a time.

you woulndt want to use a 2 handed weapon even with a parry mage. the small percentage less defense chance is drastically overcome with ability to use cures / heals from potions.

main reason bush mage isnt that popular is because your sdi is cut to 15 percent. too much defense in my opinon, parry mages at least have 30 sdi 35 with scribe. might be good for a purely support / survival character tho.

back when there was no timer on evade and sdi was hard cap of 15 for pvm it was a very good template.
