Like i said I havn't played in a few months, but last time I was playing Eval/ Anat didn't seem to work correctly. Wrestling was better. Eval/ Anat does save 20 points and for certain builds this is huge. As for a weapon skill it could be anything.. open hand is best for potions and why most people seem to use it now, but swords/macing/fencing should work also. The issue is in regards to pot chugging and from how and what I played potions were a big deal. I've realized that most people disarm often, so even with both hands full potions can still be reliable.. just more situational then a crutch. My all time favorite character was a macer parry mage, he was a dexxer that could cast spells, but this was before imbue, throwing and mysticism came out. I crutch on potions a lot and necro mages were destroying me with bloodoath so I ended up changing the temp. I don't suggest doing a parry *insert weapon skill* mage but it could be something fun to play. A 6x120 parry wrestle mage is effective due to the increased SDI. I was running that temp when I stopped playing. Honestly I think all mages are pretty even in regards to power right now.
As for reactive paralyze.. I see good things and bad things. A key part of knowing if the shield/property is worthwhile will be if you are frozen when the para goes off. If you are.. then it's not a good idea in my opinion. If not then it could be awesome against no resist characters. If it's the same as a mage para then 120 resist will negate it.
PS- have gargs been nerfed yet? Throwing and mysticism just bore me and have made me loose a lot of interest in uo. Until something changes with that my accounts will remain off. :/
