I'm at 90 parry and I got there fighting 5-6 lizardmen at a time, unarmed with npc bought bucklers.

I can't seem to gain anymore off of lizardmen and I was wondering where I go from here?

i just got back on game so im not 100%, but so far fighters in jhelom have been gaining me really well, but if that doesnt work for you, I'd suggest fighting some blade spirits if you can cast or get a friend to cast for you & maybe heal. Blades were always good for parry after AoS i believe.
Polar bears are another idea, stay unarmed & get a ton of them on you in ice island, i remember gaining well that way too.

Gl, let me know if that works or not as I've been gone a while & am trying to remember whats what. :)

First it depends on if you have bushido or not. If you have bushido then use a 2handed weapon of a skill you don't use. If you don't have bushido then use a shield to gain.

Sheep and other random barn animals in the area work!
I went to Jhelom farm and attacked all the sheep and everything else I could in the area. The trick is to have every possible spot that can attack you filled with a mob. Including standing on the same spot as a mob attacking you. ( if my math is right thats 9 total creatures )

Good luck and just keep at it!

I have gone 0-120 many times at the sheep farm. Just use a 2 handed weapon that you are not skilled in and attack all the sheep tab out and enjoy.

From a previous post on the same subject....

Wanna take Parry to legendary in around 3 hours?

1) Repair all your armor and make sure you have no DCI on any of it (including your weapon). Pieces with HP Regen are highly desirable.
2) Arm yourself with a weapon you have no skill in. Lock that skill or point it down.
3) DO NOT use a shield unless you have Bushido.
4) Go to the Animal pen on the island just north of Jhelom.
5) Agro all the rabbits and sheep. Let them chase you around until all 8 are running after you.
6) Toggle into peace mode in the middle of the pen, so you are completely surrounded by the 8 animals.
7) Watch the gains come. You may need to heal every once in awhile if you don't have HP Regen armor/jewelry on.

The point of this method is to get hit as much as possible. That is why you want no DCI or weapon skill. You don't want a shield (unless you have Bushido) because it is harder to parry with just a weapon. Since gaining in parry is difficulty based, you want to make it as hard as possible.

TY for the info.

I have Bushido and why or why not should I use a shield if I have Bushido?

Also one post in this thread says use a shield and the other says not to if you have Bushido. Which is it and why?

If you have Bushido, equipping a shield lowers your chance to Parry, thus increasing the difficulty level and increasing your chance at a gain.
