Parry gains stopped.. any advice?

Parry is at 111 and pointed up. I have 110 Bushido with and am under 720 cap.. I was gaining fine with various Minotaur creaters but haven't gained off one in a day of rot attempts.. Also fought some Succubus but no gain from them either.. Can anyone give me a tip or two? I'm guessing I just need to fight the right type of monster but don't know what..

as far as I know parry is not difficulty based, it should be going up. you 100% sure you have points left?

try getting lots of smaller things to attacks you so you get more successes in.

It's a long time since I trained parry, but I seem to remember gaining better off 2 medium difficulty monsters than 1 relatively hard one. I would suggest multiple Yomotsu warriors in the area outside the mine.

Parry gain is not difficulty based, I went from 0 - 70 in 1.5 hours in Yew Sheep pens the other day.

Take off all your DCI jewels and put a 2 handed weapon in your hands that you're NOT trained in. No shield because you have bushido. This will give you optimal chance of being hit, go to pens, attack all 8 sheep, then toggle out of war mode, they will gain you.

This is how I got mine up. I also went through the dry spell where I couldnt get any gains on parry. You just pretty much gotta experiment with different types of monsters and see what they get you. If I recall correctly bulls give gain still if your over 100.

Yea same here, but because of my dry spell I was able to personally keep the Jergens company afloat in these rough economic times.

Ronins took me too 115, though sometimes they need to hit you 3-4 times before you get your rot gain.

As always, whenever your stuck in a skill, die, it helps sometimes (or maybe it's just an urban myth).
