Parry and Archery

I was under the impression that parry would not work with archey until i met someone with it on his archer. Does parry work with archery? If so how well? Is it worth the skill points? Thanks

Chance of blocking with a 1-handed weapon: 17%
Chance of blocking with a 2-handed weapon: 17%


at 100 parry and 100 dex

Parry does not work with Archery unless you also have a melee skill on your template.

I heard parry was "really good" against any archery attacker. does it have a higher bonus to block an archer than a melee-range dexxer?

Nope, no bonuses.
