paroxymus dragon bug?

apparently its not just with dispelling, i was fighting misama and got distracted,died,then my drag died. when i came back he was gone, status bar shows 0/5 followers. he wasnt in the stable either.
logged in and out a few times, nothing

this happened to me as well. spent 15 mln on it too.

i think your better off with the swampy and barding armor anyway. some people i speak to say its stronger. not sure about this though.

Seems that bug is still around. Lost a bonded swampie not to long ago.

I experienced that bug several times with my Paroxy dragon and finally lost it the last time.
What happened is when you die, lost con and/or cross the server line, the dragon will run toward one of the serverlines. If you lost it inside Labyrinth, you could still find it at some corner within the walls.
Beetle does the same thing, sometime I can see a couple of beetles at SW corner of Luna wall, looking lost.

? did you buy your parox dragon or did you kill him and get it? Apparently ones aquired before the patch that fixed the prob will still be dispelled ext!
As for dmg reduction parox dragon gives 12% a swampie with non exceptional armor gets 10% and an exceptional armor will provide 20% so it all comes down to how much you need the 8% i prefer a paroxy myself.

One possibility is that your dragon wandered off to the parts of the dungeon where spellcasters spawn, and got dispelled by one of them, all before you got back?

Weak perhaps but surely plausible.

yeah i doubt hes still in there, im showing 0/5 followers, a gm showed up and told me to log out in the inn and relog. nothing, oh well he had a good run, we died many time together before. i guess it was just his time to go.
think ill go the regular swampy route for now,does it matter which armor they have on?

I feel for ya Bro. I had the exact same thing happen to a proxy swampy before, as well as a set of vollems recently.

thnks everyone for the responses, ill have a regualr swampy up and bonded in a week, for now im right back at miasma, maybe santa will ride a paroxy over for xmas

What you *should* do is run around the area you died in. Perhaps check as a ghost in the bad part. Say *all follow me* once you see it and it should re-appear on your pet counter.

Please take the time to check again, as bonded pets can stick around for quite awhile.
