Paranoia

The evil one does during their life seems to always have repercussions, just like domino's once that first one is knocked over the rest fall as well. Aleera had done many unjust and evil things within her life. Now karma must be catching up on her. Then again maybe she was losing her mind, the voice in her head had told her the one who causes the damage was in the tavern out of disguise. The man who had attacked Chalen, & Lee and herself earlier that evening had weighed heavy on her mind. The recruit with them had hidden and barely touched, although he had received some injury as well. Had the attacker known who they were or even what they were. Aleera had kept it hidden well, just exactly what had happened to herself those years spent in Deceit with the Undead. Some saw through this, mostly others who were like herself. Now the thirst for the blood of this attacker was overcoming her restraints of keeping quiet what she had become. Finding the most discrete way to get to him. So Aleera would follow the voice which had told her he was at the tavern.

Britain was a big city and held many taverns so there would be many to visit, many people to filter through her recollection of the brief minutes facing the attacker. He had been good at stealth and disguise so the attacker could be anyone. So she would rely on where the voice directed her and only hope that the voice would also pin point who the attacker was.

Her first stop would be in the Blue Bull, walking in the tavern was quiet mostly napping drunks, however one mouthy Dwarf tried to pick a fight to get her to leave the tavern kicking dirt on her, Aleera stood staring at the bearded dwarf as he then tried pushing her to the door, a quick punch to the throat and the dwarf crumbled to his knee's grabbing the huddled up dwarf Aleera grabed him by the nap of his neck tossing him out the doors. Ordering an ale Aleera questioned the tavern keeper as to regulars who came to the place. The place had been almost closed up according to the tavern keeper who spoke of a group of Virtue Keepers who had not been seen in some time. Perhaps to much corruption in the world keeping them busy and at bay. After many drinks he had given out enough information to know that the Salty Dog, in East Britain was a new hang out for many lately.

Stumbling to the exist of the Blue Bull Aleera wasn't sure this would be the night to blatantly accuse somebody of attacking her and her party of Dragon Clan. Of coarse what could it hurt to go and take note of who was there.

Standing outside the doors of The Salty Dog she could hear the laughter inside. Many drunken fools inside she thought. One of these men inside could very well be the attacker. Slamming the door open she stumbled inside. Scanning the now quiet room she smiled her evil little smile as she made note of each person there. A few giggled and even one of the Dragon Clan sat among them. Ruling out all the women in the room Aleera only made note of what few men were there. Noticing one approaching she knew if he chose to attack her she would be finished, she was not in the state now to defend herself. So quickly she made it to the doors and vanished.

Would she remember all of the evening or was the whole thing just Paranoia !
