Painted Caves Breaks Client

Hello,
I thought I would mention this odd bug.

I have visited the painted caves several times trying to fill my spellweaving book.

I have discovered that visiting the caves causes my EC install to bug out. I get the bug where mousing over a hot bar freezes the screen.
This has happened three separate times. The fix is to close client and restart.

The last time I went I got my very fist BSOD.

I think I am done with the caves.

(Win 7 64bit, i7 920, 6GB, 4970)

I haven't hard problems in the painted caves, but slasher is ridiculous. It's not even doable in the EC. Often, the screen will go black and/or lock up the client.

This has been reported in this thread since almost a year. The Painted Caves issue sounds more like a problem with the display driver though.

But in deed, there are effects makeing also my graphics card smoke, especially water effects, fire effects, smoke effects. The charcter models are much better now also when there are a lot of players, but at the last event for example there were a lot of fire elemental corpses and i cant move without lag, first i thought this lag is caused by the 100 players around, but after the decay of the corpses i could move faster than 2d players.

The Slasher of Veils i rember i have done much so far, but one of the effects of the falling stones were wrong rendered and the client began to lag like hell, after a relogin everything was okay. But this was only one time of more than 100 effects.

What are you hardware specs?

I have these same issues. EM event I locked up 4 times, slasher and lich camp are the same.

These problems have to be addressed. The dev's say they cannot or find hard to replicate but if they were to attend an EM event with a reward to be handed out or spawned a couple of crimson dragons I'm sure they would see problems!
