Paging for help

Has anyone encountered problems getting help from a GM in the past few days? My ship is blocked on all sides by other ships and is not close to land to allow me to dry dock. In essence, I can't use my ship. It has been like this for well over a week now.

I paged for help last night and never even got the standard canned response after 30 minutes. Did the same tonight and it is 1 hour later. Anyone know of any issues with GM paging lately?

Thanks

30 minutes - 1 hour is a pretty short queue in my experience. GM paging on Pacific is totally down.
With all the complaints about CS and GMs lately, I hope the UO team seriously listens, because this is a problem that will drive people away from the game.

funnily enough i paged a gm last night ; i couldnt log into Shard of the dead after downloading fresh client and making new account to test it all out (apparently i dont want to from what iv heard :L) paged them on Europa shard

emm explained the situation that i can log into normal shards fine...
but when i logged into SOTD i get a blank screen, can see npcs names and hear that backpack noise i used to hear many years ago

got a reply what looked like a copy and paste answer ; linking me to general help about billing

never uninstalled my UO client so quick before :(

I have run into that quite a few times recently on Atlantic when using the classic client. Not sure why, but if I close the client and reload, it works fine.

Don't uninstall, try a freeshard :p
Remarks like this is what helps the devs inaction to drive down our population...as much as i hate WoW and blizzard EA/Mythic whoever could learn a good lesson and a fair chunk of change by going after the freesharders and recovering monetary damages. Then they could in turn hire some usefull devs or CS agents to make the official servers BETTER!

Thanks for the comment. This actually was on Pacific which at least lets me know that it isn't just me. Perhaps I wasn't clear in my OP, but I didn't wait for 30min to an hour in the queue... I waited that long to even see where I was in the queue. In fact no message popped up other than to tell me that my message had been sent to a "counselor/ game master". After that... just silence.

I also have to agree with you about CS and GM's of late. I am one of those people who has been considering taking a break simply for the fact that there is very little if non-existent support. EA should at least grow a pair and admit that they don't have the kind of player support like they used to. At least this way we know up front what to expect when running into a problem.
