Just how good is pack instinct - how much damage does it add?

What do you think of these combos and which would do the most damage?

Fire Steed + Fire Steed
Weaker than Nightmares, but both demon and equine instict.

Nightmare + Nightmare
No instincts (at least none listed on Stratics), but stronger than Fire Steeds

NM + Bake

Fire Steed + Bake

NM + Rune Beetle

Fire steed + Rune beetle

NM + White Wyrm

Fire Steed + White Wyrm

I chose these combos so I could be mounted.

I don't have a Dread warhorse and probably neither do the majority of others so I'm not listing it as it's not currently obtainable except by sheer luck.

The pack instinct for frenzied ostards equates to a 20% damage increase - 100% with a full pack of five. Not sure about other pets.

Pack instinct adds to the damage each pet does, for the 2nd and subsequent pets you control, up to the max of 100% with a pack of 5.

So...

2 pets = +25%
3 pets = +50%
4 pets = +75%
5 pets = +100%

To count towards your pack, the pets have to be of the same type, eg equine, feline etc so it won't add a bonus if you mix species. And not all pets have pack instinct - for example bake kitsune won't get a damage bonus when you have two of them (lore pets to see what pack instinct they use, or it's listed in the Hunter's Guide on Stratics). However for PvP my favourite combo is to ride a frenzied or ethy and have 2 kitsune alongside me.
