A wild guess, it is ... well an Anti Death or Death Mitigation ICON.
Oops, I can confirm this ... yes it is (opinions vary on whether berserker mode is a good thing or a bad thing).
What does a Berserker mode do for a .... player?
It's like a little involuntary divine fury when a gargoyle gets low on hp (I can't remember the exact stats off the top of my head, but you get a little extra speed and power at the cost of being easier to hit)
Ah, that is like the Beserker spell line in Everquest then.

Hmm... Berserker mode... can I get a Panic mode buff? I feel bad for the lone Skree to the side there... he looks terrified and well... completely obsolete!
