After the heated exchange between Santiago of Trinsic, Sir Jacob Talvun, Knight Commander of Trinsic Paladins, and Lord Valyon of Britain many from the crowd dispersed to The Keg And Anchor. Sir Jacob Talvun also headed to the Keg and Anchor to make preparations for the possibility that Lord Valyon of Britain may impose a possible blockade on Trinsic. While at the Keg and Anchor, many conversations were overheard amongst the locals. Elise Symeria the waitress of Keg and Anchor had mentioned a few of the things she had heard from Trinsic locals. Just a few of the things overheard by me as I sat at the Keg and Anchor.

Lord Caleb of Britain is bad tempered and paranoid.

Lord Valyon of Britain was a close hunting partner and friend of Lord Arkun of Trinsic for years.

Lord Arkun of Trinsic was well respected for his philanthropist Trinsic work Program.

Lord Cauthon of Trinsic disliked Lord Arkun of Trinsic because he managed to convince a majority of the Lords in Trinsic to support his philanthropist Trinsic Work Program.

Lord Arkun died in the jungles to the southwest of Trinsic when he was ambushed by orcish scouts during his hunt. Lord Valyon was expecting to hunt with Lord Arkun that day but a messenger had approached him in Trinsic with a urgent message to return to Britain. Upon his return to Britain no one new who had sent the message or what emergency. Lord Valyon returned to Trinsic immediately to rejoin his friend but had discovered his friend had died in an ambush. Lord Valyon of Britain was very upset.

Lord Cauthon of Trinsic seized leadership of Trinsic by seizing Lord Arkun’s estate. Lord Cauthon of Trinsic was able to acquire Lord Arkun of Trinsic estate at auction with no competing bidders paying a fraction of its worth.

Lady Vasheri of Trinsic is one of the few powerful Lady Nobles of Trinsic. Lady Vasheri of Trinsic is the only daughter of Lord Phaedron and inherited all his estate when he died.

Lady Vasheri was expected to be at the auction of Lord Arkun of Trinsic estate. Lady Vasheri of Trinsic was returning from Vesper for the estate auction when her ship was attacked by pirates from Bucs Den. She was barely able to escape the attack and make the very end of Lord Arkun’s estate auction. Lord Cauthon of Trinsic had already acquired 90% of the estate.

Lady Vasheri of Trinsic was believed to currently be in Nujelm visiting the Sultan.

Sir Jacob Talvun, Knight Commander of the Paladins of Trinsic, was heard suggesting that an alliance with Mornwok of Vesper may be best chance of a defense against Lord Valyon of Britain.

Mornwok of Vesper was currently believed to be in Nujelm City making a deal with The Sultan.

As I sat and listened to the locals it struck me as odd that Sir Jacob Talvun was quick to seek a war with the northern cities and yet later at the tavern suggested allying with Mornwok of Vesper who is currently in Nujelm both clearly northern cities. Also I wondered as all this was occuring where is Lord Cauthon of Trinsic. It would seem Lord Cauthon of Trinsic always seems to be the beneficiary of other Lords and Ladies tragedies and misfortunes. And what deals are being made in Nujelm with the Sultan and why?

The "Firework Barges" have arrived in Trinsic and are ready to welcome our Britain friends!
I'm sure they will be blown away by the powerful welcome.
