It's like a half mask and covers your mouth and nose and velcros behind your head. Cant remember if it covers the ears or not. Looking everywhere for one and cant remember what the name of it is.

only thing I can think of is a dust mask. I'm guessing that's not it.

My dad had one he used for hunting that looks like this one below - I just called it a half mask...and it looks like the supply places do too, judging from the results I got typing that in Google search.

The ones ladies use that have a hood to contain your hair, with a loose cowl that you can pull up as a half mask for warmth are called snoods, but they are pullover.

They have the close fitting ones in the military too, like this, but they still just call it a half mask.

Baklava is a dessert, hehe

I think your meaning Balaclava. But that usually goes over the head - try searching half-balaclava, they are used a lot for skiing.

The balaclava mask is a lot like the ladies' snood, just tighter fitting.

This is one of the websites that came up in my search when I found that 2nd pic - they sell all sorts of masks.

The kinda suck. I bike year round and got myself one. It kinda pulls down on your face. Its not the best item unless its for a costume or joke or some such.

You're much better off with a helmet heating/defogging system that runs off your vehicle's battery system. Forced heat beats moist soggy cloth in your mouth/nose.

Edit: and a good turtleneck or thick hoodie. Layers, layers, and more layers. The thinner the better. I grew up snowmobiling a river 3-5 months a year as my main transportation. I never got uncomfortably cold.

It's called a gator. I beleive the name actually comes from the brand that made em famous; kinda like calling a tissue, "a kleenex." Most any ski shop will have em but not in leather....just sayin.

I just use my hand to cover their mouth and nose.
Your doing it wrong. The non co-operative ones will usually hold their mouths closed tight. Clamp their nose tightly with one hand and eventually they will open their mouth and make a gasp for air. At that point you take advantage of the situation.

If you have Gander Mountain or Academy in GA, check there. We were just doing some Christmas shopping and my husband bought a similar mask for deer hunting. You can also shop online at both of those places, as well as Cabella's.
