For the past 2 yrs. I keep seein this one ride
which I have never yet ridden at any fairs ever in me lifetime.
Every year so far, now that they moved it down here,
instead of up in Memphis, we go to the Mid South Fair.
But alas, I keep lookin at this one ride, as if it is some challenge,
or should be something I should DO/try, just cuz it is [the only fair ride],
which I have never ridden,
sorta on my 'maybe' I should try it ...*bucket list* LOL
But ya drop 130 ft. in 2 seconds of time, and so far
I hath chickened out, of riding on this ride. LOL
I need someone to double dog dare me to try it or something !!
Just lookin at it, turns me into CHICKEN to try it. ^^^
Now last yr. I did try the batterdipped deep fried alligator sandwich
which I never had at any fair before and it was yummy !! !
I have yet to try this gravity droppin ride though. *ponders*
Should I ? or NOT ?
Meh I'll probably chicken out AGAIN !

Anyhow, the huge local MidSouth Fair Sept. 23rd to Oct. 2
is only gonna charge us senior citizens 5 bucks to get in, this year. YAY !
And they are even gonna have [tribute bands concert days]
for us *seniors*
to listen &/or dance to during the fair. haha
So I guess our young mayor musta
"heard it thru the Grapevine"
& decided us oldies
want our midsouth fair music:
"Anyway we want it, that is the way we like it",
& that us "Freebirds",
are not ready yet, for our "Stairway to Heaven".
I bet some of ye youngsters
don't even know 'the original artists/ bands'
that sang them songs, do ya's ? ! huh huh ? LOL
