To break it down to those not well seasoned on mixed martial arts, most champions will defend their title only three times per year, meaning Fedor would have been making 15m a year, plus endorsements, plus his cut of the gate(which based on what Lesnar made, he could be looking at roughly 7.5m a fight)
Kobe Bryant only made a little over 17 million in 2006, and this guy is an MMA fighter, a still relatively new sport. I cannot understand how his manager would not let him accept this deal, except for that the manager is affiliated with M-1 and trying to leech off of UFC's name to bring up his own organization.
