This is my old pack that I have on one of my auxillery tamers now.

That is as dark as they go. It really is blue even though a lot of people call it black. Frenzied have those dark stripes that make them look even darker.

They do still spawn, while searching for my new pack over the last half year, I've killed many a frenzied of that color that didnt meet my requirements on strength and hits.

Wow, awesome, any particular spot or just all over the lost lands?

Aye, I've used that spot by Sphinx for a few years too, it's pretty handy as the frenzies don't tend to wander as they can elsewhere.

I have a runebook of locations where I've found frenzieds spawning. It makes tracking down specific colours or stats much easier as you can cull the ones you don't want, then move onto the next spot instead of waiting around for a respawn.

As far as I've noted, the colours seem to cycle (forest ostards spawn in 2 colours at once, I think red+green and yellow+blue from memory) and get darker as they go. The gold ones eventually turn up brown, the greyish ones eventually become the "shadow" hue, a very dark blue.. and so on.
