I really wish they would fix this.

You should also know they will cut you off after a certain number of orders. I think it was 4. Your fifth will put u on fraud alert, and wont be completed until next day. They wont tell you this, you will just get a vague failed transaction error.

Too true, it is annoying that we have to place multiple orders for the same item... Why do they taunt us with a quantity column?

I am in need of 2 SA upgrades, but the store won't let me purchase them Says I have already bought this item. Well the accounts are tied to 2 other accounts that have already purchased, but now I am stuck until I can figure out how to get around this one

You can make an ID for the website that is not linked to any game accounts. Just use a different email address. I did this accidentally when the new account mgt system went in, because I didn't know what I was doing. But since then, I've been using that ID to buy stuff and never had a problem. I haven't used it to buy sa codes since my accounts were already upgraded, but I have bought high seas and Gothic/rustics and given the codes to friends to use, and they worked fine.

Thanks for the suggestions. I decided to try ONE more time! Well I manged to get one, so did it again and got the 2nd one finally!! Looks like they fixed it!!!! I mean still one lousy thing at a time, but atleast I got my 2 SA upgrades

it's the worst online store i've ever experienced. it's stupid you can only buy one thing at a time. and you're limited to 4 items before the fraud alert kicks in. last week i bought 4 legacy tokens and had no issues (asides from having to buy them one at a time), and when i tried to buy a 5th i got a message saying the order was on hold for review. thankfully it was only 4 hours later that the code came through, not the next day, but still... major pita. every time i buy anything from the store i'm left saying wtf. i guess i should be thankful it exists at all.

it stops stolen credit cards to be used fraudulently for hundreds of items in one transaction, thus limiting the damage to the victim, and also limits the damage to our economy in the game world.

really if you save your account and credit card details it takes about 10 seconds a purchase, only needing to click 5 times and enter your CVV each time.

im not sure what all the fuss is about all things considered

[edit] also id suggest you buy during office hours for the USA, i too only two days ago got caught out on trying to buy 6 items, needless to say the final two items under "review" turned up withing 15 minutes

The point is you can't buy multiples in one transaction, forcing you to engage in this suspicious activity.

you are stating the obvious,

i know its only 1 item per transaction, that helps to stop abuse.which is the point i made.

buy 4 transactions of 100 items per transaction, = 400 items brought with stolen CC before checks are made

vs

buy 4 transactions of 1 item (like it is currently ). only 4 items brought with stolen CC before checks are made

I can buy 1 legacy token 4 times and get stopped. I can also buy every item on the website 4 times before I am stopped. How does that make sense?

Would be better to put a realistic limit on the number of items you can buy (10?). There are better ways to flag suspicious activity.

Lots of companies that are doing alot better than ea and have alot more exposure allow you to buy things in multiples.

I agree that the implementation of security is of poor design.

why EA cant match other vendors and implement measures like verified by visa and other verification methods is beyond me, and then as you say set a more realistic limit. i would hazard a guess that would cost money to do, and honestly im not sure how much "money" there is spare these days. who knows,

I am actually glad for this, it make me limit my spending . but I agree, it would be nice to come in and buy 10 legacy tokens at once. I need soulstones on Siege, and really hate doing it 1 here, and there.
