ore matters with imbue

does the ore quality matter imbuing. If I use valorite ore instead of dull copper with a regular hammer will it be easier to imbue and have a better chance of success? thanxs

It does matter. Dull Copper adds Lower Requirements. Gold adds 40 luck. Those both take away a property that could be imbued and increase the intensity of the item for the next imbue.
