so im on days off.

im relaxing, chilling out, veg'n

and i got to thinking.
a orc expansion would be neat.

i read the idea here before, but never paid much attention to it.
but i was thinking today you know what would be neat....

make an orc expansion and give them PACK INSTINCTS when ya play in groups!!!!

hahahahhaa, ya!

cause orcs travel in packs!
wouldnt that be funny, surrounding something in PVM and you get a bonus DI and SSI for being in a pack.

and if ya have alchemy on your orc (GM) then you get to be a Orc Bomber!

if ya have stealth, then you get to be a Orc Scout.

that and there is a distinct lack of people wearing just loincloths and bone armour these days!!

that was my UO brainstrom for the day.

I already figured out a name for the expansion: "Orcs in L.A" (Lake Austin). The expansion should be reserved for Lake Austin only.

Instead of trying to make them equal to other races, what about making them their own entire separate "classic" minigame based on RP orcs and the plain-ringmail-wearing orcs of today?

example setup:

- orcs can attack each other in any ruleset (but otherwise obey the normal rules)
- orcs cannot wear equipment with properties (that is to say, if you can unravel it, an orc can't wear it)
- orcs can't get insurance
- orcs can only use a limited subset of classic skills
- orcs haven't the foggiest idea what to do with a powerscroll
- orcs have an added bonus loot table scaled by monster level that drops "pre-AoS themed gear"
- add a few "orc wars" themed challenges (perhaps an orc-only city the way Wind is a mages-only city)
