Has anyone else who has had problems with this keeping this option checked in the Classic Client figured out yet how to make it stay checked for ALL of your characters on every account and every shard? I am so sick and tired of it becoming unchecked after certain client patches (presumably after you log in with some character that doesn't have it checked). I cannot seem to find this option listed in any type of configuration file that is used as a default when a character doesn't have already have one or it has perhaps become corrupted. I'd love to be able to edit the "master" configuration file so this option STAYS CHECKED unless I actually change it on a specific character (something I would probably NEVER do). When I try to play UO with this option unchecked, the mouse pointer flickers constantly, acts sluggish when you drag it, and clicking on anything when it's flickering like that is a true exercise in frustration.
[And before you tell me to try the enhanced client and I wouldn't have these issues, read this: I'd really love to try the EC! I've used it in the past but my laptop hated it. I downloaded it onto the newer one I use now about a month ago and as soon as I log into a character, the screen goes completely black and I can't make any adjustments to the client to even begin to prevent that from happening every time I log in. Don't have any inkling where to even start to fix that issue, so I more or less gave up and have stuck to using the classic client. (And no, I haven't downloaded or tried to use any EC mods, so that's definitely not the problem with trying to get the EC client to properly display the screen past the very first in-game shot of a character.) ]
