So, I thought this was a keeper.

904 health
622 str / 570 int
resists 84/85/52/59/61

This pet rates a 4.0 on the power calculator.

However, the pet ended up with only 106.5 wrestling and 107.5 tactics. Does this mean it's gonna be gimped with regards to the end content creatures? Will they just hit every time and he'll be unable to hit back with his low skill, and do little damage with his low tactics?

What do you think? Worth keeping with an eye for higher end stuff or keep searching for one with higher skills?

While damage is not going to be a particularly problematic thing (you'll miss out on 3-5 damage every swing... no real big deal), you ARE going to miss a somewhat significant fraction more, and you will similarly be hit more.

Still, with resists and HP like that, it'll still be near-unkillable... it'll just take longer to kill things.

It's a keeper until you can find something better. Sure, it'll get hit a lot, but with resists like that, you can out-heal most damage done.

Ok, thanks for the opinions.

As you say, it's in the "until you get better" category, so that'll do for now. =)

My GD has similar resists and the only thing I have had trouble with even healing him are paragon ancient wyrms for the most part. Everything else he general can take down with a little vet on my part. So he should prove to be a good addition to your stable
