Ophidian Loyalty

I have 428 ophidian loyalty. I want 5000 so I can get the blackrock stew recipe. (No comments please about how useless the stew is.)

Now that the bane army is mostly gone, I tried killing terathans in the Ilshenar spider cave. They do not give ophidian loyalty.

Does that leave Magincia as the only way to get ophidian loyalty? I don't see killing blackrock golems solo, not even one, let alone enough to get up to 5000 loyalty.

There is, at the moment, no way to gain Ophidian loyalty that I'm aware of.

Blackrock Golems don't give it. I can't say if that was intended or not but if it was, it would make a certain amount of sense...These are magical constructs who presumably would fight for any side that made them. (Personally I still think they should impact the loyalty system, but that's just me.)

The loyalty system is of recent vintage; the Terathan/Ophidian conflict considerably predates it. From a strictly fictional perspective the Terathan/Ophidan conflict seems instinctual and purposeless, and the Terathans have been losing for what is likely centuries now. In other words, while it'd be nice if they expanded the loyalty system to incorporate more conflicts (remember that the first Champ Spawns were, in design, a not-dissimilar system called "The War" that got scrapped), I could understand it if such a system never made much of the Ophidian/Terathan conflict. They've been killing each other for so long I doubt they can remember why and thus why on earth would they care how many of them we killed.

As to your immediate issue: Buy the recipe from another player. Somehow I doubt there'll ever be another chance to get that many anti-Bane points. It took me a long while.

I guess if they incorporated Ophi loyalty into some other scenario in the future?

It's not really a triad but two different sides: The bane and the allied side. If you killed Meer, Ophidians, or Britannian Troops in the city invasions, you gained Bane Loyalty.
