How does one kill one solo? whats the best way to go? I saw one nearly 3 shot a fully trained high resist cu sidhe with high hp.

You need a Power/Mystic/Vanquishing weapon to deal significant damage to them. You can melee them as long as you have good defense and perhaps a cross-healer if you need one.

They are also stupid. Find a fence and shoot one across it.

I killed one solo the first time they invaded Vesper back a few years ago... it somehow got all the way over to my cabin... took 45+ minutes of stepping up for a few hits then back on my porch to heal back up from its hits, then stepping up again for more hits and so on before it went down.

I was a fan of mystic weapons, but I believe (in their later incarnations) ophidian-slayer weapons can also pierce their shielding.

Yes to the slayer or mystic weapon. And Discord/Peace/Provo. Few things a bard with chiv and weapon skill cannot solo that is not a champ or peerless boss. Few plp left about that get their panties in a wad over having a Discorder about.

Critical strikes from lightning strike deal direct damage.
Armor Ignores would work too.

I don't know about the Ophidian berserkers, but my 30 SSI Vanq crossbow takes down Daemon berserkers in about 25 secs.
