OPEN New Account, 2 Characters per Shard, no Housing for $5.95/mo

How about there is a new option where you can open an account with maximum 2 characters per shard for $5.95/month, no house possible.

I'm sure something like this could increase your revenue stream a bit, without having people close their accounts due to housing.

Or even perhaps limiting houses on these accounts to maximum of 10x10 or even 7x7

Who is closing accounts due to housing? Even on Atlantic I found a 14x9 spot two screens from a popular Moongate. On Baja I was offered a 16x16 plot but chose, instead, to place on that plot second closest to the Moonglow moongate.

I would think It could be used to attract new players , not old grumpy selfish ones who knock every possible GOOD idea , because it doesn't serve to there benefit..

Its a simple demand thing I dont want any tram or aos items the game was better and more balanced then. EA wont offer a pre aos server(s) with no tram or powerscrolls. I found over 1000 people who enjoy my playstyle. Besides it beats the hell out of playing against just necros and archers. and i still pay for 2 accounts. EA says it cant be done but im enjoying it almost every day go figure.

I think its a really bad idea, look at the trouble all the trial accounts create as is Blah!!!
It would be just another way for the greedy to exploit and one more thing the company would have to monitor.

Yup. Of all the bandwagons that EA could choose to jump on with UO, this one is blatently the best.

UO can never be WoW, hell I doubt UO can ever be EQ even, or any other more "full on" MMO, but it can certainly be a fantastic passtime for many years to come, and it's addiction potential is proven, so yea, give people free ultra-basic accounts, with the option always available to updgrade to full accounts if they ever feel the need, plus while they're playing "free", make sure you bombard them with oppurtunities to spend money in order to "enhance their game experience".
