I know you are probably really regretting your statement about how things work in Fel. Big ouch!
Here is the problem; You demonstrated to the entire UO Stratics population that the people responsible for correctly making changes / updates to the game do not have a valid grasp of how things really work across the different platforms on each shard in this game. This is something that has been bantered about for quite some time. You did, afterall, put things like Bestial suits in the game.
You have gloriously confirmed everyone's suspicions. Be they right or wrong, doesn't matter. Your credibility as a developer for this game..well..to be honest..it's pretty well shot.
You are highly unlikely to ever get it back. Gamers are a pretty unforgiving lot.
Ok, so you screwed up. Extremely uncool but no big deal..everyone does. The measure of your character and professionalism will certainly be linked with your next move and words.
On that point, I think it would go a very long way with this entire team's level of confidence from the player base, if you listened *this time* to your player base.
#1. Implement these changes to the Tram ruleset only, if at all. They are the only ones who cried for it.
#2. The Fel players have spoken, in a virtual unanimity and for very valid reasons, that this can never EVER hit the Fel facet.
They, as I, now have absolutely no doubt that neither you or this team has a firm grasp on or are even able to conceptualize what this will cause across the champ spawns of Fel. As just a small hint; You would more than double the griefing factors of all champ spawns. There is so much more...
This is one of those times where you need to step back, recoup yourself.... LISTEN... and then do what is right for the game and it's paying players. Believe me, what you are about to unleash is NOT that.
Fail to do so...you should either resign or be fired. One of the two.
