Yesterday I got into a hurry and instead of opening a trade window,
I tried to hand my cook a commodity deed, by dropping it on her head.
I missed her and dropped it onto the NPC
I opened his paperdoll and clicked on his backpack.
And it said something about I couldn't snoop this.
So I brought another character there and I was able to open his backpack.
(You can't steal a commodity deed out of his backpack.)
He is invulnerable, so I can't kill him.
So I figured I would page a GM,
thinking that the GM could see in my log
that it was in deed my commodity deed
and that I dropped it onto him by mistake.
(there was no message on my journal when it dropped into his backpack)
And of course I waited around and
I kept checking my email.
I know they don't replace lost or stolen items
and they usually always send the generic message.
It took them 2 hours to send that message.
it is not LOST or stolen.
I can see it.
And I figured that a GM could retrieve it.
==================
A GM came to a guild members castle in Felucca
just a day or two before because a fire painting poofed
when she went to place it.
The GM couldn't find it and said that it was a known bug
and for her to email Mesanna, who came to her an hour
after she emailed her. And placed a fire painting at her house.
(maybe she did this, because my friends account was always active)
===================
I saw on the other forums a comment made from Mariah
" A GM will not intervene when the problem already has a viable solution."
(this was in reference to a tmap in an unaccessible place,
but I think it fits with the current situation)
I know I can craft more dough.
It is just that it takes so long to do it.
And if you aren't a crafter,
just know that it takes hours to reproduce that much.
(NOTE to the GM who didn't bother to show up:
if you don't have the ability to take items out of an NPC's
backpack, just send me a message in game telling me that.)
But seeing as how some GM's replace lighthouses after
they break from chopping when they are placed on goza mats.
(mine wasn't replaced when that happened to me in 2015
but in the last year or so, a GM replaced another guild members when hers broke.)
Stuff like this makes me feel like
the GM only does things for people whose accounts have always been active.
its like they see that my account age doesn't match the creation date.
They must think, why should I bother if she is just going to quit play.
NEWS FLASH, its inconsistencies that causes people to quit.
(first time I quit was because of drama in game, that my cousin created
& moving in real life. 2nd time was because I had a deadbeat living with me
and I couldn't afford to pay the subscription)
=====================
So to make a long story shorter...
To open a trade window with another player
in CC, click their person and choose Trade
in EC, their health bar & choose Trade
(I am telling this because I have recently met players
who didn't know how to do this)
this works as long as you are on the same level
And I highly recommend to take the time to do this...
because a GM doesn't care about the player
