On Being Compassionate Today

First we can't escort in Haven for Compassion, and now I can't find any anyone wishing an escort anywhere except Haven. There seems to be an overabundance of guards though, so maybe all the lost souls attended guard school , are now gainfully employed and no longer need to be escorted? I do hope a few return before my knights lose bubbles.

Had a run around Dagger Isle, no escorts with the orc camps.

Went to Despise, no escorts in the lizardman camps.

Went to the brigand camps west of Minoc gate, found a guy who wanted taking to Nu'jelm.

Went to Scara Brae, no escorts there.

Try Cove, Jhelom, Nujelm, Ocllo, and Serpent's Hold. Still finding NPCs that want escorts to/from these towns.

And I note the guard zones still work in Cove...

It makes sense, sorta. The towns that have gone lawless no longer have NPC escorts attached to them because they're "dangerous".

Thanks! I couldn't find any in Jhelom, and I've been avoiding those other towns since the baddies came. Until today there have been plenty of escorts in Skara, Brit, Moonglow, Jhelom, Vesper, and Minoc.

Interesting observation. I had not noticed, but you are right, there are none in Moonglow either....very strange indeed.

Rescues are still there - so check trinsic barrier island, Ilshenar sacrifice, the plains east of tram/fel Compassion desert, etc.

Just delivered a rescue from Sacrifice Ilshenar to Ocllo. Picked them up, took them via the Sac moongate to Luna, and gated them to Ocllo via spell, no problem.
