Old player returns...and is somewhat confused

Hi all,

I'm an old player returning after a break of 4-5 years to Europa and have a couple of questions

1) Is there a way to get uogamecodes to work with a non-us credit address credit card? EA support have been less than helpful...

2) How does one make money these days - economy was a little more vibrant back then...

1. yes there is a link just under 'country' that asks "out side (something)" hit that and pick the country your from.

2. Money: If you have a charcter that can fight you might try selling imbuing ingredents. if not goto the rat spawn lure the rats to the public building cast EV's or use ranged weapons to kill the rats they have tons of imbuing ingredents to sell. Watch the loot on the renowneds they are rare but some of the best items in the game.

I assume by "rat spawn" he means the area of the abyss with the 3 ratman clans, and by public building I assume he means the contest home in the abyss, which unfortunately tare not public on every shard.

Silverberg, I had that prob being from UK with UK card and trying to use it in the USA.
Turns out all you need to do is use the address from where you are staying, even if its not the one registerd to the card.

As far as making money goes it depends on what kind of character your building.

Crafters have ways to make money. Certain terrain archers thrive, certain places bards do well. Many places warriors do well.

Treasure Hunters can make good money. Fisherman can make good money.

There are many many ways to make money and get the ball rolling.

I play predominantly on Europa; if you like we can meet up and I'll try and point you in the right direction.

Biggest issue with this, is technically if someone wanted to be a jerk, you could get banned for doing this, as it's illegal to use terrain or houses to block creatures from dealing damage directly to you.

Thanks for all the tips and advice - I've broken out my old TH and have started to retrain her as a bard/TH - never tried the bard before, Also got my mule training up imbuing - should go well with the 120 Blacksmith skill

Then technically it would be illegal to use your legs to run away around a corner from a monster because that would be using the land in front of you.

Some rules are just stupid.
