Old grandfathered houses

One of my accounts has three classic houses on it: a small wood on occlo island, a forge on ice isle and an L-shape in the brit farm fields.(in a guardzone!)

I know I can't place another house or I would condemn all three of these but I was wondering if I could make any of them customizable. I've never tried because I would hate to lose this unique feature on my account. Does anyone here have any experience with this?

i have an account with grandfathered houses and i have customized one house. it did not affect the grandfathered status of any of the houses. sp house.png
