Is there a better shot at a mempo in the dojo? I logged on today to find the runnies devoid of players. I was the only one there. After my first drop, I thought I'd go down and check out Fandancer. It was packed. The first succubus room was open so I started there. I was only there 15 mins before 2 other people came in and started killing the succubus. I recalled out, I'd rather avoid the terminally greedy. Then I had to wonder why the place was so full and people were willing to do their best to edge other players out.
I have gotten 155 drops now. I've given alot of them away. I would just like one mempo for myself before the event is over. Is there a better shot at it in the dojo? Is that why it's so full when the runnies are empty? PM me if you want.

No, there is no better shot. It is full because it is an easiy farmable loacation full of static spawn, which is unlike the rune beetle spawn, where it is more spread out.

In theory, aside from drop rate, ANYWHERE should give you an equal chance at a Mempo.

I've been staying in the Yomostu mines, not that I have gotten a Mempo there (I haven't), but because it's generally MUCH LESS camped since the Yomotsu are not affected by a Slayer weapon and if you're not paying attention, you will probably be dead soon and the gold intake will basically ensure that if I DON'T get one as a drop, I'll be able to get one on the Market. The drop rates have been decent (although tonight seems oddly slow, not sure why, usually I get one every 30k gold or so, usually 6 per weeknight and 180k gold) but tonight seems to be MUCH slower for some reason with no change in equipment. Such is the RNG I guess.

It's just common sense. In the Dojo, the spawn is closer together. You don't have to run around to find the monsters. Sit in a room and kill.

The "runnies" (as you stranglely call them) require a bit more leg work.

I move between the Champ Spawn and the Dojo. The Kill-rate of high fame creatures in the Dojo can't be beat, but I go to the spawn for a change of pace.

I have been farming all over between Bake, Runebeetles and Rai-Ju but I've yet to get a Mempo...... I do get a good number of drops about 1 every 20 min...

but still NO Mempo.

Well by my count this is day 14 of the event. Still about 16 days to go. Keep it up, keep killing stuff. You still got about 13 more days before you should get nervous...

Just imagine when it does fall in your pack! It will be well earned.
