Ok. So I am trying something from the past!

I am going to go back to my roots. I am going to create a character from scratch. Like back in the old days I will progress my characters skills the old fashioned manual way. No power gaming. No buying items and bashing golems. Just good ole fashioned hard work. Wish me luck haha.

Ha! This was a huge undertaking. I hate making characters. Thats why I had a huge soulstone collection. I would just move skills from one to another to make a char that I needed. I really only have two 6x120 chars lol.

I need template ideas. I cant seem to find any updated info on many of them. Sampire? Whammy? PvP dexer? Tamer? Bard? I have all teh skills laying around. just need to find templates that are fun!

Are you doing it with help from others etc. or as if your a totally new player?

The problem I had when making a new toon was the lack of starting kit.

800 gold went on training 2x skills to 40 points. The left over 200 gold was not even enough to buy a full spell book, let alone any LRC armour.

New players are definitely left in the cold.

If new players get in gen chat and let people know they need a few things, they shouldn't have a problem finding someone to help them. I imbued up a mage suit, filled spellbook, a runebook, etc, for a returnee just the other day. They were nothing special, I didnt PoF the suit up, just made 100% LMC all 70s training suit.

If you see someone struggling, it is up to us to get em started off. And I normally don't mind helping anyone I can. In fact there are a lot of peeps on Legends the same way.

What I do mind is having someone asking for stuff, and their paperdoll shows em as Illustrious LOL...sheeeesh
