Hmmm, did you forget the link, Basara?
Tina - one of the features of this new stuff is the llink at the Forum top labeled "Announcement". Messages of note can be linked right there for all to see/reference.

I darn near missed it ... Basara has a way of shouting that just draws my attention!

Why would you do this on a weekend? Wouldn't it make more sense to take the forums down on like a Monday for 48 hours? Like when *most* people are working, not playing, reading and posting?

Oh well, glad ya recovered what you could. Thanks for the hard work!

Possibly because the people who need to do it are also working during the week?

You're not forgetting that Stratics is all run by volunteers who do this in addition to the jobs that pay their bills and put food on their tables?

Besides what Petra sez ... during the weekend, many of the REAL diehards are playing and not galomping thru the Forums! As I understand things, the evolution will be staggered ... restore this-n-that, test it, then do another group. Just to make sure no more surprises!

Look in Toontown ... they lost everything according to what I saw (public forums). They may not be as large as UO, but they're as devoted I believe.
