Yes. A dread warhorse. It vanished as I dismounted. It wasn't bonded. I logged out and back in quickly and got it back.

Did yours actually end up stabling itself? I didn't check the stables for it.

When the Black Dread vanished as I dismounted, I thought it was a spin-off from something from long ago when I suspected deliberately programmed glitches were an attempt get old bugged mares out of the hands of unskilled players. My Tamers used to have the mare vanish when walking through gates. I forget the exact reason. Maybe another ancient Vet remembers?

that was different that this though. i remember it, but the pets were gone. MIA.

now they just get stabled.

I've only ever experienced that bug after training on a char for awhile, using necro forms and spamming them for skill. The last time it happened I tried to page a GM to show the bug...forget what the result of that was, though, whether the GM said to submit it to bug report or what, but I don't remember being able to chat with a GM or show them the bug as it happened. But it's a pretty old bug, nothing new, whatever it is.

Anyway, this was taken in May:

Basically if you dismount, the mount auto-stables. You go to the stable, mount it, unmount, it auto-stables again. Not sure why it happens, but it doesn't happen on this particular char now so it is self-fixable or corrected by something.

this happened to me the other day and i just so happen to have been training necro by casting vampire embrace over and over..

it was fun for awhile, i told everyone i had dyed my ethy cu red

logging out and back in again seemed to fix it tho.
