Ok, I asked in area generals and got reponces like i have no idea,, Or i never thought about it, or you need a Mount. we I have a mount now and still cant figure it out

ok, this is the question

How do you get to the water and land above ambersill ranch near Ironforge I think NE of Ironforge, you fly over it going from ironforge or stormwind to menethil harbor. it has a FP but no ! over the flightmaster, and Ironforge mountaineers, a circle run way from planes or? a few buildings, and the NPC's wave at you as you fly over

I have a feeling that's been menitoned before as one of those "no go" areas that requires some kind of cheat/exploit to get to, and being caught there on the ground could get you banned.

Possibly something for a future expansion that will be "unlocked" by digging a path through somewhere... but not available now.

It use to be, or at least about a half a year ago it was. I've been up there.

You go to the front door of Ironforge and take a right past the wagons and you will see a small path. Follow it and then jump with a mount at a 45 degree angle up the side of the mountain.

There is a tree here and just above the tree you can, with many tries, get caught on the side of the mountain and make your way up to the airport. The flightmaster has no text dialog. You can walk to the very top of the mountain to see the Dwarf flag at the top and wave to the people going to Menthil harbor.

Last I heard though is that Blizzard put an invisible wall at the point above the tree where you could get up to the airport. There was not much there to see though.

Well thanks everyone, for the responces, I guess for now i will Quit trying to get there. bummer I though I had missed a quest or missed something cool. But i guess not.
