Lately we've seen a serious trend with folks claiming UO is going F2P. It's been said in a number of threads effectively attempting to derail those topics. It needs to stop. Now.
We've had an answer to this already from @Mesanna, at this time UO is not going down the path towards F2P. Erm, something you want to tell us Broadsword??? , read it for yourselves.
If anyone has any evidence to the contrary be it a chat log from EA customer support, or an email, I'm sure @Mesanna would be happy to for you to contact her concerning it, mainly so she can address it with the appropriate parties at EA.
Continuing to fuel this rumor mill is detrimental to the entire UO Community, by doing so you are generating hype for something that in the event it doesn't happen creates animosity towards the development team. For Stratics it creates additional work as our moderators work thru dealing with post reports, for people derailing threads, and through preventative actions trying to keep an eye on threads and making posts attempting to keep them on topic to begin with.
At this point, this post counts as a public warning to the community, this rumor has been addressed by @Mesanna, and should be considered a closed topic.
