I was in Despise working some spawn and I killed maybe 11 slimes and rats.

5 reds came piling in...I mounted up and teleported up and took off for Destard.

Well, I went into Destard and started working spawn there. We had a stealther in Despise and he was watching them finiish it.

Well about 20 minutes went by and I had Destard up to lvl 3 and my stealther said the Coon was red-lined. Coon dies.

2 +15 Powerscrolls pop in my pack.

Thats right...not only did I not hit the champ...and not only did I only kill a couple lvl 1 spawn....but I was in a completely different dungeon.

lol...I dont care what they say...that cant be intended.

destard is on the same sub server as despice so u can indeed recieve scrolls there

before they implemented the 90tile radius u could have ur protector standing in wind dungeon or something while the protected ppl finished a champ in despice and still get the scrolls...

maybe they should say that only ppl within 90tiles of the champ gets a scroll...

about the 2scrolls then we all know that there random number generator is broken...the oddest of things keeps happening when it's kicked into play.

I vaguly remember reading somewhere that 2 scrolls go to working the spawn while the rest go to working the champ (but not whether or not it was intended). I can't find a reference though.

But intended or not, it does it not create the possibility of a "spawn nibbler" playstyle ... creating a new level of difficulty in controlling the spawn (control of immediate area vs total control of the dungeon). Needing to control a completely different dungeon too does sound a bit excessive though :)
