Oh my gawd! "New" dragons?

Ok, after an evening of about 6 players trying to weaken and tame a dragon I am going to say this. Imagine a Rend with magic properties. And then you come close to what dragons are now. They are meaner than hell. Even in test center I can't tame one...WITH the help of others!

On the bright side, I did manage to tame a drake. They seem to be untouched by the update. But WOW...Dragons are gonna rule the world again with this update!

I think I'm going to go back again this morning and try to tame a dragon again. Now that I know what I'm up against I may be able to go better equipped. Maybe I can get someone to try to help me by casting engery field, peacing and I'm not really sure exactly what discord does but that might help to.

If you want to find me I'll probably be in Destard (front) dead and hoping someone will rez me. heh.

That does sound useful. Do you know if those resists return to "normal" after creature is tamed? Or does it stay lowered once tame?

I may have to take up discord.

As far as I can tell from discording and taming Cu's, everything comes back to normal after they are tamed and the discord ends. Dicoed tames are no weaker than regular tamed cu's.
Always best to do your own testing though!

Everything returns to normal after you break line of sight for about 12 seconds. Once I tame the critter, I just invis until the sparkles surrounding them disappear, indicating that the discord has been broken. It's a great skill, I highly recommend looking into it.
