Ogre Lord Para Chest?

I was given this chest several years ago by a close friend at the time as he took his leave of uo, He told me that he recovered the chest from a para ogre lord somewhere in ish , he allso told me something about a GM wanting to take the chest because of it not suppose to exist or something because of ogre lords not spawning in ish, or as para anywhere.
In all my time i cant recall, or find any info on ogre lords spawning anywhere in ish or as para anywhere period
Does anybody know If this is so? Do ogre lords spawn as paragon anywhere? If not what might this be worth?

If a GM wanted to take the chest then they simply would have. Assuming that there are no artic ogre lords anywhere in Ilsh then maybe 100-500k, possibly a mil if its white or black. You'll have a hell of a time trying to sell it though as most people will think your nuts for pricing it so high, b/c they'll tell you its a common para chest.

I'm just wondering if it's a Random chance in ilsh to turn paragon?

I think you can tame OL's with that special book or tally or Something....

So if you took one to ilsh and just re logged enough or released it couldn't it have a chance to turn paragon?

Seems pretty unlikely but just an idea

hm thats a good point with spell weaving you can use dryad's allure to tame one.

I was told earlier by a reliable sorce that for a short time after ish was created that creatures outside of ish were turning paragon, and thats where the chest came from, and as for the GM attempting to take the chest, my friend told me that it was a conversation he had with the GM and the gm was telling him that he had to delet the chest because it was created due to a glitch but allowed him to keep it after some talking it out I dont honestly know anything myself however. Tho i dont listen to what just anyone tells me but this is just info iv recived from what I consider highly reliable sources

I thought the only thing that was turning paragon outside ilsh were golems?

There are paragon ogre lords that spawn due to the inu quest line in reg volom. I'm actually surprised there aren't any afk gold botters in there.

Your reliable source needs to work on their knowledge of UO history a bit. Paragons weren't put into ilshenar untill a few years after it was created. There have only been paragons outside of ilshenar during the EM program when the GM would make certain creatures paragons (like relentless trackers etc). The GM running the program has never deleted any of those chests or showed any interest in their existence.

I got mine from a event that was held in tram.I dont remember which one???


At that time, i think there were only 2-4 per shard.But there have been some other events that have spawned paragon orge lords.

I tried to sell mine for the longest time, and failed.So i opened it and just use it for a chest in my house.Mine is that pinkish color.

You also said that this is someone whose information you really trust. And I gave you reason to reconsider your high opinion of them, which may very well help you when dealing with information you have gotten from them in the future. I did in fact help you, and without any kind of attitude, which maybe after you have calmed down a bit you will recognize as true.
