odd vet reward question

now we all know about the shard shields, and their limits..

i currently have quite a few but would like another, however I am out of rewards atm 0/29 or something like that.

anyhow, these are account bound. my question is, when you claim one are they bound or is it when you use the token?

id like to buy another one, but i dont think i can, if my thoughts are correct. Not sure when my rewards renew again.

It's really sad, even the deeds are account bound.

I would really like to consolidate my 3 accounts, which came into proper age and have different number of reward choices so that I need only keep one character slot free for a traveler on my home shard instead of 3.
But I can't due to this unfortunate design.

Dear developers, wouldn't it have been enough, to make the deeds limited by account age, and only the collection of tokens from placed shields and claimed tokens account bound for the account, which recently placed the deed? If placed next time by another account simply the accumulated tokens could be wiped.

Or the alternate solution would have been, to make the shard selectable during placement, which would go more in process with the numbers of rewards the most players can choose and give a little more flexibility.
