We do not own Luna houses with vendors that make tons of gold every week. Most of us play the Classic Client. Why? Because we love UO, the OLD UO, and we strive for those days again. Because we're the pawns, the peasants, the few who stick to tradition and the things that make Ultima Online ULTIMA. We run shops outside of luna, we spam general chat, we make our gold through face to face interactions and fair prices!
We are the 99%, my friends! The select few who control the event items and x-shard those rares have such a tight grip on the market that the little man who is looting gold off monsters cannot, and can never hope, to amass as much gold that is required to equip his account with proper equipment! (inflation is rampant, [fine blame the dupers, but you know what I'm talking about]).
We are the 99%! We go out there and play in fel, when we can, and the fluff takes center stage. But our voice is seldom heard! We do not have titles like Royal Spymaster, or whatever, because some of us have to work for a living.
Stand up with me, the mediocre! OCCUPY UO, OCCUPY LUNA. We are sick of the rich getting richer. The new players just simply get newer. The balance of the rich and poor must change!
