Obtaining good weapons?

Good day,

I've been away from normal shards (been playing Siege off and on forever!) for a long long time but am looking to make a warrior on Great Lakes. What I'm wondering is how do you usually go about getting really good weapons? Crafting, hunting with high luck armor, doing lockbox quests, etc.? If this has already been discussed, I'm sorry! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most high end weapons are now crafted ones, although some people have gotten lucky with the strongbox quest. Either the Minotaur quest in Heartwood or the one in Sanctuary (don't know the name of it) are the 2 that you want to do. Keep in mind for crafted weapons that both Copper and Bronze runics can make some extremely high end weapons. All of my Sampire's weapons except for his rune blade were made with one or the other of those hammers.

Your best bet without having a high end smith and nice talisman along with some simple runic hammers is to do the strongbox quest. Only problem is you will need to do it quite a few times to get some desirable weapons for whatever weapon skill you are currently using.

Keep in mind that you will need a character that can make their way through the labyrinth in order to get one of the key items for said quest.

Other than that if you consider any other shards aside from the one mentioned I can make weapons for you.
