Obtaining Faction Silver

I know you used to be able to loot faction silver by killing monsters that had an affiliation with your faction. For example, if you were in Minax you could kill Ogre Lords and loot something like 30 silver. Has this changed? My archer is in Minax and killed a few Ogre Lords but there was no silver on the corpse. If this has changed, is there any other way to obtain silver? (Besides killing opposite faction members). Thanks

You have to kill monsters that have an affiliation with an opposite faction to get silver.

also make sure your faction didnt set the rate to 100%
i think its called tithing rate or something? like a tax
you can have 100% go to the player and none to the faction or 100% to the faction and none to the player
and a few options in between like 50-50 and a few others cant remember
i know if you get 100% thats 30 silver

Goto blighted grove in fel and kill the silver serpents for silver.. You will earn thousands very quickly.

Even better is the Daemons at the Daemon Temple on Fire Island in Fel. 2 on the top of it, they insta respawn, easy as hell to kill. You also get good gold for it, plus Fame and Karma for Sacrificing/Chiv. You don't even need to leave to sacrifice Lord status. Go from 0 Fame back up to Lord in like 10-15 mins.

The Daemon Temple on my shard is pretty dead. I haven't seen another person there in years, so i can pretty much get all my char's up to Knight of Sacrifice easily in peace. Hell, it's so dead, i even put one of my Whammies in factions for awhile, just so i could get Silver at the same time that i'm regaining Karma.
