He doesn't address the lack of CS, way to go EA.
Well atleast they still have madden to milk until its unmilkable(questionable word here) and can chop it up and lay in the laps of another one of its "sister" garbage companies to try and pick up the proverbial pixel pieces that they so love to scatter amongst the virtual world..
EA reminds me of a couple of other corporations that used to exist that were gobbled up by their competitors.
Although you could argue their sheer size prevents this, so could those former corporations.
Needless to say this wasnt good for the employees.
Most people i know dont have good feelings regarding EA, which i dont believe is good to there bottom dollar.
Personally i would think they would try to please the customer since their former customers are exactly the
people they are trying to make their future ones.

And yet here we all are... supporting them with our money.
Not for too much longer if they continue in the directions they are going... at least for me I'm holding out hope for another few months but I'm thinking after my major accounts hit that magic 14 mark and gain their shard shields and we see how yet another anniversary comes and goes we'll see if I am still playing. Used to be I'd play everyday from the moment I got home from work till bed and had a blast all the time.... now I'm lucky if I log on once in a while ..... I quit with the EM events, done with most things I don't even work on my .1's anymore.... too much grinding and too much of a "soloists" game now.... and greed has spoiled most the enjoyment I used to have....
Now they want me to add more crap to collecting and hunting that you need to refine your armor so you can survive in PvP or dominate in PvM and for what? More junk no one wants anyway..... not balancing anything just making it more unnecessarily complicated... making newer players more overwhelmed and make them know they aren't welcome... make us spend more time grinding out crap so we don't realize there is NO content to the game.....
Be loyal to a city for what? A few bonus's no one is going to use or want? That's a gold sink? Yet more complicated stuff added... I'd swear my brother must be working for them but I know he's not...
I want less complicated play.... Perhaps it is time I just moved on to something else.
And what happened to community? For every step forward we seem to take 10 giant steps back. Here I gave you something you wanted...... to be able to co-own more of your accounts to your houses.... but then I ruined all your armor so now redo the armor on all 60+ of your characters because now it'll be worthless..... and your either going to get eaten alive by everyone and everything or you will have to just get by while everyone else gets all the spoils ...... no arties or EM drops for you........ NO PvP for you...... unless you change all your armor.
The vote I would say is pretty clear and that's just the ones who know about it. That's not counting the 100's who don't read stratics or pay any attention to the website..... won't they be in for a shock when they get rolled in Fel and suddenly can't hit the broad side of a barn.
Maybe I should get into how we can't hardly ever get a GM to answer us in-game anymore, can't seem to update our accounts, how dozens have been turned away from coming back tot he game simply because they can't get their beloved account back from the limbo it's in..... or how you can't hardly buy anything from Origin store because you can only get just one of anything in a month and then half the time when you DO buy something your code won't work and you can't get a GM in game to even answer let alone help putting you right back where you were but now your out some cash...... is that funny enough for you?
Or should we go on with how now you can't even talk to them on the phone 9 times out of 10 they don't even know they HAVE a UO let alone support UO. Anyone left laughing now?

Sounds like the game is causing you more stress than enjoyment. Maybe you should take a break.
Some stiff competition... my votes are for Comcast. Nothing like a cable bill that is higher than a car payment. Although Ticketmaster and their $2.50 charge 'allowing' you to print your own tickets is a serious threat as well.

You forget that this man claimed he wasa gamer.... I do not see any sign he ever was one. If he was he has forgotten the basics of a player and the game. EA needs restructuring badly... the board has no intrest in the game themselves outside what amount of money they put in the coffers for them to draw a salary. They dont sit on that board for free you know.
As for Free 2 Play.....
My daughter in law and son play 1 and only one and I have seen how they try to pull every dollar off the players. You get the basics.. barely. Any nice thing or really needed item you need "bucks" to buy. To go free of cost is very hard and takes a wiz to manuver the way through the tempting niceitys to get ahead... Sorry I cant see UO in that light... we wouldbe dead in under a few years.. if you think EA nickles and dimes you now................. omg!!! What they could do to you in F2P!!!

I gave everything away coming up on..maybe a bit more than a year ago. I roll by here from time to time to see if it's still live. Maybe looking for a reason to play again. So far, all I have seen is just more reason to not play. The current Dev team..well..good thing I have lost most of the hair on my head..one would scratch oneself bald trying to figure out what the hell they are doing. I sincerely doubt I will ever game like I used to in years gone by. One thing for sure..I buy no EA products for anything..ever. That will never change. The real bad part for EA... most everyone I ever knew in 14+ years in this game are the same way. I doubt EA will be surviving much longer in it's current form. One can only hope

And they treat their employees even worse.
well in my opinion there have been a lot of things lately that have the potential to ruin this game.
1) destruction of factions, killed pvp on most servers with the exception of atl.
2) the bracers quest was horridly designed, becoming nothing more that a grind/scripter fest
3) putting the valiant scrolls in tram
4) the tomfoolery on atl allowing a massive duping of slithers which is being dealt with by not allowing duped items on vendors instead of removing the items from game and banning the accounts that created them.
5) the high seas content being yet another grind fest and not even incorporating a new water based champ spawn that would give some real meaning to using the new ships
6) badly run em events that spawn several items that trade immediately after for 1 billion gold.
7) a new publish that takes having a phd in calculus in order to understand the crafting changes, not to mention that many players have just finished reforging their suits to take advantage of the last round of crafting changes
8) assinine interviews with developers that never yield and concrete information about where the game is headed.
9) the lack of attention paid to cheating in all of it's forms
10) the lack of gm support, sometimes taking days upon end to get a response.
feel free to add more.

11) Keep paying your monthly dues, but we're gonna jack up your connection to a point where the lag is so bad you can't play anymore.
