Nov 19, 2013 patch failing on XP machines

I have tried to load this patch on 4 different XP machines and they have all failed.

Part way into the patch a window pops up stating - "The patch client encountered corruption in the file [base/unpacked/e52ea935f837cf7] on the remote server (1 total errors encountered). Please try the patch operation again".

Patching again gets the same results. There are no files in a patch folder. Trying the Perform Full File Check does not help.

I have noticed that the [base/unpack/???] message has different stuff at the ??? area.

What ever is happing - XP operating system is not happy with it.

which client? My hubby safely patched his CC client on his XP pc this morning.
