Notice posted at the Yew Abbey

Be it known that all the lands from the Drow lands to the Yew Abbey and down to where the old Travel Lodge Tavern stood are still seen as the Village of Aegis and that all who dwell within this area are subject to the laws as set forth by the Knights of Yew.

Penrose stood before the notice, smoke swirling above his broad shoulders. He stood stoic, his eyes grazing over the words written upon the parchment. His lips twitched slightly as a crooked smile formed across his face

Knights of Yew? None have ever made their presence known... Perhaps an army Aedon cleverly made up in his crazed mind. A man of so little precedence, who claims so much. What desire looms within him, to make such proclamations?

Penrose chuckled aloud, wet coughs soon followed. A glint of pleasure shone in his eyes as he stood remembering the lessons he had bestowed upon this "Guardian of Aegis."

Who would even listen? A single dog can hold no such claims alone...

With that Penrose turned, the smoke swiftly following his every move. He himself would not...

Cas laughed as she read the notice before tearing it down and heading back to Dread Keep to retrieve the agreement Aedon had signed to remain in Yew. Things were about to get difficult for him.

Walking past the Abbey Aedon sees that his notice is missing. Laughing a bit, he polls another copy out and reposts it.

Attached on top of Aedon's notice is a copy of an earlier notice.

To the people of Yew.

Having come to an agreement with Cassandra of Yew I wish to make public my intentions and declarations. For the time being, and until after the next election, I will cease any aggressions towards Lady Cas and her followers. We are enjoying a sense of law in the city right now which I wish to see continued, and will do nothing further to disrupt the calm of our city. I ask that all citizens of Yew do the same.

As any good citizen of Yew I will pay my taxes in full and on time so long as the taxes are reasonable and the funds going to support our city.

The Village of Aegis has always been a part of the greater City of Yew and remains as such. Furthermore, the position granted me by Brother Kyriel and the Knights of Yew I formally resign from for the time being. Though I am still keeper and guardian of the Glade of Aegis, I defer protection and guardianship to Cas and will follow the laws set forth for the city up till the coming election.

Should Cassandra of Yew choose to run for and be elected Governor of Yew, I vow to serve my city and Governor to the best of my ability.

As any of the people of Yew can attest, I have don exactly what I have agreed to. I have ceased hostilities towards Cas and her followers. And in good faith, she has upheld her end of the deal. My notice does not concern her, nor the Hand but another who interfered in matters of a citizen of Aegis against that person's wishes. Aegis will always hold the same lands as were mapped out in years past by KoY. The Village of Aegis sits withing the greater City of Yew, but has her own laws and leading body. When any citizen of Aegis comes to me for aid, I will offer it. It is as simple as that.
