First, this has some spoilers about the next event, but I'm posting here to improve our shard success.
The next event just transpired on a few prodo shards. Without giving away too much, we will be required to get on boats and hunt down some sea monsters.
These are hard. 20 spawned. We killed three total after TWO HOURS. One of the creatures we fought for 45 minutes, its health never dropped below 95%. It was so bad that the EM is going to request that Mesanna scale down the creatures for the future events. Legends has a "redo" next Saturday.
If the creatures are not scaled down, here are some tips for improving our odds.
1. Do not engage at sea. They massacred boat after boat. Lead them to shore, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you be near a healer.
2. The creature type was crab or something odd. They are basically a type of scalis clone. The gems do not seem to be automatic drop, but maybe 50% based on other shard reports. Unconfirmed reports of people getting single tile soul forge as well. The loot items are very good (several major or legendary arties).
3. These really really require a lot of bodies teaming up on one to get through the hp regen. Would suggest if anyone gets one lured to shore we gate everyone else to that spot.
