The trees don't show a name. It would be ridiculously easy to complete if they did.
You have to figure it out. Work through the trees, either noting down or remembering the names as you go. When you start getting matches, head back and lob the apple at the correct treee.

well.... thanks. omg some of this stuff is so tedious lol. i just want to bash stuff with my sword, cut down the trees, smash all the apples, and be done with it.
thanks again, at least know the process now. really thought something was wrong. belfry was hard, bar was easy, armory was easy but seemed to take a long time, havent tried fountain yet, this one i thought would be a breeze but looks like itll be another 10 - 15 min encounter :/
liking the content so far, did with a group a couple times but this is the first time doing it on my own.

Overall, this is one of the easier ones and can be done with a large group without the fear of being over-run with spawn, or be done solo. Fey slayer for the tree mobs helps.
My suggestion is that you need to have one person pulling apples and throwing them at trees, with a pen and paper noting which trees are dropping which apples. Rest of team can just focus on the spawn.

thanks guys, yes after i found out the names only appear it was easy. altho i did feel like i was doing gradeschool homework rather than playing a video game lol. scribbled some stuff on paper, ignored the spawn to run onto the next tree. once got the hang of it was painless.
only fountain to go, and then the roof. As for the roof, does anyone know how scaling goes? im thinking having my other account afk there would be good just to rez, but also worried it might be too many adds. now im thinking i should have brought other account along thru the whole thing, next time maybe. cool to just have some time to finally try this new content. did the whole thing with a group a couple times but didnt really understand exactly how every encounter / boss would be solo.

Yeah but that doesn't help you if you need to complete that on a character that could actually do the roof encounter. Just saying. At any rate I found that one person works the apples while one just kites the mobs.or ... you could just use a stealther
Same with the fountain... One person focuses on building the waterways and the other focuses on killing. I prefer Killing.
The orchard and the fountain are my favorites. Malag kites/kills while I run around finishing the puzzles.
The bar is a bit boring, especially with the glacial bottle spawn. The armory is just a more killing intensive version of the bar. The belfry is...just not fun.

Every time I catch someone talking about Shadowguard it sounds about as exciting as sorting a coin collection. It's always a lot of tedious-sounding whaargarble about colleting bottles or picking apples and how you should bring a pad of paper or something.
Its actually alot of fun, most people who think its tedious are just bad at the game (Citation needed)
Belfry = easy
Armory = easy
Orchard = easy
Fountain = easy (have to split into smaller groups)
Bar = Easy, but a bit tedious with the multiple waves
Definitely more fun than having to spend an hour to get some keys, and its also a lot faster. I mean honestly, the wings hardly take any time at all to complete.
That's good to know. It's all academic to me anyway.
