No Corgul Island

Hi All,

I haven't done Corgul before but i read the guides and followed the steps.

- went to mountain pass outside covetous and sacrificed a tmap and world map
- got on my tokuno ship and dropped the map on the tillerman
- told it to start and it sails me to empty ocean space over and over

i've tried getting a new map like 5 times and i've manually sailed around looking, but no island ever appears. my toon has high seas, and i'm using the right boat type.



what am i doing wrong?

Did he say you have arrived?

If so, it is a bug because you came from "the wrong" direction.

Go a little ahead of where he stops, turn right or left and go past where you think the island should be. Then drop the map on the tillerman again and say start.

This happens to me a large % of the times I go there. I always find the island eventually.

Thanks, i managed to find it once out of like 9 tries. can't explain why i couldn't get it the other times

i was just circling around over and over and finally gave up. so buggy

You have to go far enough away to reset it, it seems.

i remember going from vesper towards nujelm or skara and going northwest. it has been awhile but it was always a short sail to the island

I don't get it, i've done it like 20 times using your method @Pawain

it actually worked 3 out of 20 times. i go super far out and approach again. i repeat for 9 different directions and it doesnt seem to consistently work. i cannot see any reason why it works sometimes, but mostly does not.

Maybe something has made it supper buggy recently. I also noticed that on Atlantic there are only a handful of corgul sashes for sale now and they're up to 70mill+

There used to be tons for sale and you could buy them for 5mill. Maybe it isn't just me and people aren't even trying to do Corgul anymore because the island doesnt appear most of the time

Ill hit the Island by passing it, usually just 2 tries. The only time I couldn't get it was when I accidently dropped the Map in a non accessible spot on my ship. A GM got the map for me later.

No I use a Britannia ship. I have used an Orc ship in the past, and it would not find the island on the first try sometimes.

This bug is why I call the others to Luna while I find the island and then gate them. They would wonder why I'm going in circles.

Use the map on the tillerman. "start". Once you get to the spot, assuming you stop, sail forward (whichever direction you were going before you stopped) and the island should be there. Especially on a Brit ship, it doesn't cross over to engage the island populating.
Oh! Be sure to claim the map on whichever facet you want it to be completed on. Tram turn in for tram map and fel for fel.

I try to claim in fel for fel. But does it matter what map I sacrifice? Can I sacrifice a tram treasure map in fel to find the island in fel.

What is the easiest way to get the Brit ship. Since I can’t just pay gold
