EM Event News
Blackrock. Yes Blackrock, It's back and it really is hitting towns hard. At the beginning of May citizens infected with blackrock were spotted in Trinsic, Yew, Skara Brae and Vesper.
At Yew odd citizen guardians surrounded a box, When the box was finally opened a book inside it said:
Immediately Nathan Hawke called an emergency meeting on the 5th of May, Discussions went deep through the evening as Nathan said whoever wrote the book was looking to use Orcs for the mining, Aron suggested we visit the Orc Mines however we found no evidence of mining in the caves or inside Mericles old workshop.
Later in the week Nathan sent a message to his guards telling of secret Dark Elf cells that have appeared over the lands, We were to find the remaining two and destroy them. One of the cells was located in the Yew Orc Fort, The other remained unknown.
On the 10th of May, a new week, new mysteries as entrances to dark underground spaces appeared near Yew, Vesper and on Bald Island. These holes were guarded by a Dark Elf which on saying mine would tell you:
On Friday the Duchy of Trinsic, with help from the Yewish, reported the Dark Elves responsible for these holes were using Dragons to guard the entrances.
A week later Nathan Hawke arranged a meeting to sum up events and setup the next move. He told everyone what had happened, The Dark Elves had managed to setup entrances to mines throughout the lands and were using Dragons some how. They were also using passwords to enter the mines via the books people were finding, However on knowing that, The Dark Elves have began sending the passwords in code.
Suddenly an Orc burst into the Counselor's Hall and yelled to Nathan that his home at Yew Orc Fort was under attack, Everyone rushed over and the attack quickly stopped, A book was found at the Fort, It read:
Nathan asked us to follow the road North to try catch up with the caravan, Not far up the road dozens of blackrock infected Dragons were found and quickly killed. Back at the Counselor's Hall Traveler had found a decoding book for the passwords, Something that would come in handy!
Another week had passed and Nathan had his next set of plans ready, He had learnt the Dark Elves were using Sudiva to breed special dragons so our first visit was to Sudiva's Lair where we found the entire area filled with Dark Elf Tamers.
With the tamers killed we found a coded password and map in a box, The map led to our next stop, A remote island.
The island seemed to be the headquarters of a special dragon, The Pack Dragon. After they had been killed another password had been found, It said 'Bald Island' and was the final stop on our adventure.
At Bald Island we lowered ourselves into the mine and spoke the magical password to gain access, Inside were a dozen or so miners and 3-5 blackrock infected Dragons.
Back at the Counselor's Hall the guard had only managed to rescue three miners however Nathan was pleased with the result, He asked us to try find out the other passwords to the mines and with that he left.
Those who were lucky looted a Blackrock Pickaxe, 10 were given out among the monsters.
RP Event News
Another busy month for the Role Playing community! All month the nations of Vesper and Cove have united and hosted four huge events each week. Beginning on the 2nd of May in Vesper with Golem Wars & Vodka N Stool Races! The next event in Cove was a rather rude, but somewhat entertaining Insult Competition!
Back in Vesper on the 16th the Twin Nation event continued with a horse race ending with duel battles in the centre of Vesper City.
Finally on the 23rd of May Cove hosted a Bagball game and a Jousting session. The Twin Nation Games ended with a party in the Swaggers Inn on the Sunday the 30th.

On Wednesday the 19th I was invited to take part in something I have never seen before! A full scale Chess game in Nujelm.
With 22 of the 32 chess pieces being fully talking, moving and generally rude human beings it sure was a blast!
The Chess game was between Angelica Wish and Thomas Jericho, The game ended with a checkmate and Angelica winning, Congratulations!

Finally I bring you some rather upsetting news, Emre Khaldun has went missing from the Trinsic Hospital on the 30th of April, It has been an entire month now and still no sign. If you have spotted him please contact any of the Vesperian Guards, Trinsic Guards or Waterfay Eversky directly.
Emre is about 40 years old, Dark skin, Bald and of medium build.
House of the Month
May's House of the Month is a shop, But one that related very well to 'House of the Month'. If you're in need of a peeled banana, some barrels or cheap daily rares this shop is the place! Mountain Hollow owned by Hollywood.
Located just south of Ice Dungeon in Trammel (123o 34'N, 39o 26'E) it has all your needs if your in the decorating mood!
Events Coming Up in June
There are several player taverns open throughout each week, See the full schedule here to see when one is open, The recently opened Yew Tree Tavern has been added to the schedule this month.

Finally we have the the fortnightly ECL Chicken Fight on Monday the 14th and the final battle of the season on Monday the 28th at 8pm UK Time at the ECL Arena, West Zento.
Note: Any events that are announced after this is posted will be in two places, Either the Europa Forum or the Europa Events Forum. EM events have the tag [EM Event] at the start so keep an eye out!

After 9 weeks of deadly battling the scores stand as follows:
6 : Cyanide.
4 : Trinsic Steel, Nari.
3 : Spike, Shadow, Frosty.
2 : Midnight, BlueBlaze, Spot, Lightning, Bernie.Trinsic Rose, PeckyBalboa.
1 : Lime, ThrobbingGristle, SnotKlap, Nugget, Cerulean, Flash, Moonfeather, Dryad, Eric, Fir, Mixer, Quicksilver, Sky, Silver, Sango
Cyanide's gap has remained the same as Trinsic Steel and Nari play catch up. Other good performers such as Spike, Shadow and Frosty remain at a respectable 3 points with new comers Sky, Silver and Sango sitting at 1 point.
The next chicken battle is on the 31st of May at 8pm UK Time! You can find the Arena west of the city of Zento. Gates are also available between 7:45pm and 8pm at Luna Bank.
